I probably mentioned a while ago I'm making a Thousand Sons army. I intended lots of converting and it isn't all going to plan. I am making some progress though - these are some Thousand Sons raptors I just completed!

They are basically evil Egyptian wizard space marines. So I made these guys different from standard space marines with egyptian and arcane imagary like scarabs and robes, as well as archaic equipment that would have been standard at the time they went rogue.

Mayans with machineguns isn't a bad start though - hopefully they will look better when painted!

I got the chaos half of a Dark Vengeance set cheap. They are really nice models and I'm using them and some other stuff I acquired to make up an Alpha Legion detachment that I can use alongside my Thousand Sons if I want to field a bigger army.

The chosen are excellent models but I'm going to be using them as aspiring champions for the Alpha Legion troop choices and for conversions - I'm making up two Thousand Son terminator squads and with an Alpha Legion helbrute I don't have room for any more elites!
